Coaley is situated 5 miles from the Market town of Dursley in Gloucestershire. It has a population of 630 residents. The community want to prepare a Parish Plan that sets out a vision for the future of the community and identifies the actions needed to tackle issues of concern. The steering committe will talk to every group in the village seeking views and opinions. The village will be split into wards and each member from the steering group will be allocated a ward to gather further information. Other methds of consultation include questionnaires, and open day's. one to one chats. The Parish will also utilise the knowledge from neighbouring Parishes who have already gone thorugh the process of doing a Parish Plan.
